L’atelier is a boutique residential practice creating refined, contemporary homes that balance precision, elegance, and enduring quality.

We work at the scale of the single home — new houses, extensions, and considered interiors — where architecture is felt most closely and detail matters most. Every project begins with the people who will live in it: we listen, observe, and distil what we hear into spaces that feel both timeless and deeply personal.

The studio is kept deliberately small. Fewer projects, more care. It means the hand that draws your home is the same one resolving it on site, and that nothing important is handed off or lost along the way.

Simona leads the design of each home — shaping proportion, light, and the quiet details that make a space feel considered and calm. She is drawn to architecture that does not announce itself: rooms that hold the day’s changing light, thresholds that slow you down, materials that age with grace.

Her approach begins with observation — of how a family actually lives, of a site’s orientation and its neighbours — and ends in drawings resolved to the last reveal and shadow gap.

Ramez turns the drawing into the built thing — technical resolution, materials, and the craft of getting a home made well. He holds the project together through planning, construction detail, and the conversations on site where design is either protected or quietly eroded.

His interest is in buildability without compromise: finding the detail that is both elegant and deliverable, and making sure the finished home is faithful to the one first imagined.

How We Work

A method of care.

    Every home starts with its inhabitants. We begin by understanding how you live before we draw a single line.

  2. Design in proportion

    We shape space through proportion, light, and sequence — the fundamentals that make a room feel right long before its finishes.

  3. Resolve the detail

    The character of a home lives in its junctions. We resolve them ourselves, drawing through to the last reveal.

  4. See it built

    We stay close through construction, because a design is only as good as the way it is made.
