The Practice Positioning

A home is more than a building.
It is a crafted experience.

L’atelier is a boutique residential practice creating refined, contemporary homes that balance precision, elegance, and enduring quality — timeless architecture drawn out through meticulous detail.

Every project begins with the people who will inhabit it. We listen, observe, and distil ideas into designs that feel both timeless and deeply personal — shaping proportion, light, and materiality with the care of a workshop rather than a firm.

The Approach How We Work

Four principles, held throughout.

i.

Precision

Measured, disciplined, resolved to the last detail.

ii.

Craft

The atelier hand — makers, artisans, materials.

iii.

Elegance

Quiet, unhurried, never decorative for its own sake.

iv.

Endurance

Homes to be lived in and loved for generations.

The Studio The People

A workshop, not a firm.

L’atelier is led by its two founders — hands on every project, from the first sketch to the last detail on site.

We keep the practice deliberately small, so the people who design your home are the ones you meet, the ones drawing it, and the ones there as it is built. Fewer projects, more care.

Co-founder Design

Leads the design of each home — shaping proportion, light, and the quiet details that make a space feel considered and calm.

Co-founder Delivery

Turns the drawing into the built thing — technical resolution, materials, and the craft of getting a home made well.

The Mark One Stroke

The apostrophe is the whole identity in one stroke.

The small mark of the workshop — the elision that turns le atelier into l’atelier. One glyph, drawn from the name itself, carried quietly across every surface.
